Jicelyn Johnson is the Managing Partner and Director, Business Services for B2Bthrive. She was born and raised in Oakland, CA where she graduated from Skyline High School and pursued her military career.
Jicelyn left the Army as a Sergeant (E-5) after completing a tour to Iraq in support of OIFII. Shortly after starting her family, she both opened her first business and decided to pursue her higher education. With a Bachelor in Business Administration (2010) and a Masters in Leadership and Management (2012), Jicelyn graduated Cum Laude from Amridge University (formerly Southern Christian University) while also making the decision to move to Colorado where she currently resides.
Today, Jicelyn is Managing Partner of B2BThrive, a small business services firm dedicated to the success of local small businesses, The director of the Black Business Initiative, a revitalization program for the Black community, as well as she currently serves as the Deputy Director of Operations for Shop Talk Live, and organization devoted to the education and empowerment of people affected by social (economic, educational, housing, employment, political, etc) challenges which merit collaborative attention and action within communities, and for advocating the improvement of human rights for African American and other ethnic minority groups.
Due to her love of travel, in her spare time, Jicelyn has visited over half of the fifty United States and a few countries with many more on her list. She is very family oriented with a love for animals and the great outdoors. She currently owns 2 dogs and a ball python. She also serves as a mentor for teenagers through Denver’s Save our Youth program and is heavily involved as an activist within both her local community and on the national stage.
